Team Celani Suzuki SBK to miss the Nürburgring round
Team Celani has indicated that it will not take part in the eleventh round of the World Superbike Championship, at the Nürburgring on September 6.
The decision was taken in order to try and face the last three rounds of the season (at Imola, Magny Cours and Portimao) at the maximum level of competitiveness.
The job of finding the optimal setup on the GSX R1000 K9 has not paid off so far, in spite of the strenuous efforts of the Italian technicians, all of whom have given their maximum in order to improve the situation.
Celani is now concentrating its efforts on finding the best way to tackle the 12th round, on 27 September at Imola.
The Rome based team will, however, field David Giugliano in the Nürburgring Superstock 1000 FIM Cup race.
